FLUORESCENT LAMPS

T5 – Original Tropical Pro

Designed specifically around the red and blue wavelengths in daylight that are necessary for photosynthesis.
This gives a warm pink light that encourages plant growth and highlights the iridescence of many tropical fish.


T5 – Freshwater Pro

Has the highest colour temperature of all our freshwater lamps at 6,900K and the most neutral colour rendering. The spectral output of the lamp has been tailored to closely resemble daylight, while enhancing the greens of aquatic plants.


T5 – Plant Pro

Specifically formulated to combine the red and blue spectral peaks of the Original Tropical lamp to support plant photosynthesis, with the higher light output of the freshwater lamp.
The result is a lamp which is noticeably brighter than the Original Tropical, making it ideal for more demanding plant species.


T5 – Marine White 14,000K

The colour temperature and spectrum of the Marine White 14,000K lamp, coupled with its high lumen output (particularly for the T5 lamps) replicates the intensity of the sun around shallow coral reefs.


T5 – Marine Hybrid

Based on a 60/40 phosphor mix of our Marine White 14K and Marine Blue 420nm lamps. The resultant spectrum of the lamp combines high brightness, with large amounts of energy in the photosynthetic wavelengths required for coral growth.


T5 – Marine Blue Actinic 420nm

Re-creates the effect of a moonlit ocean and with a spectral peak at 420nm will bring out a corals natural fluorescence.
